We would rather do it right than do it twice. Clean architecture, typed code and real tests are part of the job, not extras.
01 Why Deftsmith exists
Good software is still rare. Too much of it ships slow, heavy and half-finished. Deftsmith exists to forge the opposite: fast, honest, beautifully engineered products, built by people who care how every pixel and every query behaves.
Deftsmith is founded by Moustafa Tlais, a senior full-stack engineer with 7+ years of shipping production platforms. We design and build web apps, mobile apps and AI features for founders and teams who want them done properly, not just done.
We have built marketplaces, SaaS products, ERP modules and mobile apps across gaming, agritech, e-learning, fintech and public services, including marketplace work for clients in Australia.
02 Principles
The standards we hold ourselves to on every project, big or small. They are why clients come back.
We would rather do it right than do it twice. Clean architecture, typed code and real tests are part of the job, not extras.
Fast products win users. We budget every kilobyte and aim for Lighthouse 90+ on every launch, on real phones, not just fast laptops.
Clear scope, weekly demos and no black boxes. If something slips, you hear it from us first, with a plan.
We do not hand over code and vanish. We ship, measure and keep improving the product with you after launch.
